About dtco-sim

A simulation should simulate all aspects that directly belong to the environment of the simulation world. Especially in the SCS Euro Truck Simulator, this is already well done in the basics, but there are still some arcade-style components. There is a rudimentary sleep model, but it does not simulate the legal requirements in the Eurozone regarding rest times. Therefore it is certainly not necessary for SCS to integrate the digital tachograph into the game.

This is exactly where the dtco-sim project comes in, bringing the functions of the digital tachograph into play and thus reaching a new level of reality.
